Jihad Space Program is a profound personal experience that transcends cultural and spiritual boundaries. Nessym explores a world in mutation, where the Muslim World is confronted with major post modern challenges that result in relegation to the background and domination by other powers, whether they are political, economic or cultural. In the face of this reality, some find refuge in obscurantism. Jihad Space Program offers an alternate path: that of a quest for meaning and truth, which begins with an inner change, opening the way to a genuine harmony between spirituality and modernity

This provocative title invites us to question ourselves beyond the controversial connotations, and symbolizes an exploration of existence put in perspective with the infinity of cosmos. As a result of a sincere spiritual quest, this album draws its inspiration from varied experiences such as Sufi rituals, Voodoo, and Amazonian Shamanic ceremonies, which all converge towards a universal and cosmic truth. Nessym also nourishes his inspiration in the metaphysical philosophy of philosophers such as Plato, Rumi, Spinoza, Schopenhauer, Jung and René Guénon, whose writings have illuminated his own spiritual journey, and in particular their outstanding ability to put into words what he has intuited himself.
